The name 'VIETJOY Hair Spa Aesthetic Center' comes from its founder Amy and her hometown. Amy, originally from Vietnam and named Hoang Yueqing, hopes everyone who visits VIETJOY feels relaxed and leaves with genuine comfort and joy.

Growing up in South Vietnam, Amy had a knack for business. During summer vacations, she would help sell goods outside her family's grocery store, chatting with regular customers to build relationships. After studying in Taiwan, she noticed the fast-paced lifestyle in Taipei, where many friends relied on sleeping pills at night due to stress. This sparked her idea to create a place where the weary could relax and relieve stress, a thought that gradually took root.

Driven by this idea, Amy combined her years of experience in the beauty industry to create a space where office workers, housewives, and people with poor blood circulation could find relaxation and healing. To provide the most authentic experience, Amy returned to Vietnam to learn traditional Vietnamese hair-washing techniques and brought them to Taiwan. She combined these techniques with traditional Vietnamese massage and French elegance. From decor and essential oil selection to equipment, everything is chosen for quality, giving customers a sense of home and complete physical and mental relaxation.

Amy builds VIETJOY Hair Spa Aesthetic Center based on the principle of thinking from the customer's perspective. She values the customer experience and never compromises on product selection or staff training. She believes that products not only beautify the skin but also nourish it deeply. Therefore, she carefully selects the products used, ensuring they not only enhance beauty but also take care of health. Amy says, 'If customers are willing to spend time and money to relax, we should provide them with the high-quality service they expect.'

VIETJOY's products are meticulously chosen. For instance, natural skincare essentials include Spring Honey Body Oil sold by China Airlines, while shampoo and conditioner are salon-grade products. The store is also equipped with Dyson hair dryers. Amy mentions her product selection criteria are 'gentle and non-irritating,' especially since many customers worry about color fading after dyeing or perming. The chosen products protect hair quality and do not harm sensitive skin.

During the process of opening the store, Amy faced the challenge of finding the right talent. The current team of around 15 beauty therapists includes new immigrants and mothers returning to work, giving these individuals a sense of belonging. To ensure consistent service quality, each therapist undergoes 3 to 6 months of professional training and monthly assessments to preserve the authentic Vietnamese techniques.

Expanding Online and Offline, Social Media and E-Tickets Attracting More Customers Across Generations

Modern life revolves around the internet, from shopping and food delivery to catching up with friends. Recognizing this trend, Amy focuses on the quality of in-store products and services while emphasizing online visibility. She actively manages social platforms like Instagram and Facebook, sharing event updates and even appearing in short videos on VIETJOY's social media. In these videos, she shares entrepreneurial and investment stories and interesting cultural differences between Taiwan and Vietnam. Amy notes that many customers discovered VIETJOY through social media. Since adopting the 3TEZ electronic ticketing system, younger customers have significantly increased. She states, 'The convenience of e-tickets is their simplicity and intuitiveness. Customers only need to show a barcode for immediate redemption.' She adds that young people often buy e-tickets as gifts for their parents to enjoy massages. Currently, about 20% of customers use e-tickets, with ages ranging from 25 to 55. Not only do young people love them, but many older adults come after receiving gift certificates. The introduction of affordable e-ticket packages has attracted many first-time customers to Vietnamese massage and essential oil SPA. Amy also mentions that many tourists from Hong Kong have recently visited, making VIETJOY a relaxing stop on their journey.

Committed to Healing Techniques, VIETJOY's Second Store to Open in Taipei Soon

Amy believes the warmth and touch of hands are irreplaceable by machines, allowing personalized adjustments to massage strength and pressure points for each customer. Even with the advent of various massage machines and equipment, she still chooses manual acupressure and massage to relieve muscle tension. She pairs this with essential oils for deep meridian massage, promoting blood circulation and enhancing relaxation effects.

Regarding VIETJOY's future plans, Amy smiles and shares that the second store is under preparation and will soon open in Taipei. The new store will continue the 'VIETJOY' brand, creating a comprehensive relaxation space where visitors can relieve stress and soothe their minds and bodies. Services will include Vietnamese hair washing, ear candling, facial sculpting, essential oil SPA, shoulder and neck massage, foot reflexology, and Taiwan-Vietnam combined techniques like gua sha and cupping. Amy also hopes to integrate with the medical beauty industry, allowing customers to relax meridians and enjoy comprehensive beauty treatments.
